The Adventure S (2006-2010) is the more off-road oriented over the Adventure (2006-2010) and Adventure ABS (2007-2010).
ADVRider forum discussion on newer vs later models... take home is 2006-2008 had more issues than 2009 on.

Exhaust:
- Barret or Wings (shorty?) exhaust Wings direct from manufacturer. Black Dog does the Remus. I'd like to tilt it down to increase clearance so I can do symetrical panniers.
  - The Akro are still big and heavy compared to the others.
- Arrow headers w/out CAT?
- Thread on pulling SAS, not sure if it applies to the 1190.
