The Adventure S (2006-2010) is the more off-road oriented over the Adventure (2006-2010) and Adventure ABS (2007-2010).
ADVRider forum discussion on newer vs later models... take home is 2006-2008 had more issues than 2009 on.

- Barret or Wings (shorty?) exhaust Wings direct from manufacturer.
  - The Akro are still big and heavy compared to the others.
- Arrow headers w/out CAT?
- Thread on pulling SAS, not sure if it applies to the 1190.

- Possibly make my own racks or use soft panniers, Wolfman or Super Loop.
- Nomada Pro II Panniers
- Nomada Pro II Rack/Pannier system $1099.
aux lights
- BDCW Fork Light $420 3375 lumens.
  - Could probably get the same light ($200-250) and do my own mount and wiring.
- ADVmonster LED lighting has lots of options and nice looking stuff.
- BajaDesigns KTM LED products look nice as well.
