OC-1

  • Pueo OC-1 by Kamanu, $4500 for the Ultralight Carbon. This is generally regarded as the best all around OC-1 and is the same thing Kent has two of.

Surf Ski

  • Huki SX-1-Special is probably what I'd want... or ponder just getting a lightweight ocean touring kayak.

SUP

  • Starboard
  • Infinity

Touring/Distance SUP

Misc notes, cleanup

  • Kazuma of Hawaii seems to make some nice SUPs, in carbon for reasonable prices.
  • Wave Front Surf in Ventura makes/sells the Orbicular Flyer for $999 which seems like a good all around surfer.

SUP Paddles

  • KeNalu, sound like the best all around, use hot glue so repairs/alterations are easy.
  • Werner Nitro, nicest (only?) bent shaft and nice straight as well.
  • ZRE lightweight, history in canoe paddles.
  • Kialoa, nice paddles, really nice adjustable mechanism.
